The Terminal Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s terminal, ensure efficient service delivery, and drive revenue growth. He/she will supervise staff, ensure buses depart at scheduled times, maintain operational discipline, and guarantee customer satisfaction while enforcing all company policies and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

  • HND / B.Sc in Business Administration, Transport Management, Logistics, or any related field

Experience/Skills

  • Minimum of 8–10 years and above experience in transport operations, logistics, or terminal/branch management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven experience in revenue monitoring and operational supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of transport industry regulations and operational standards
  • Competence with basic computer applications (MS Office, ticketing systems)

Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee daily operations of the terminal, ensuring smooth service delivery
  • Ensure all buses depart at scheduled times and follow designated routes
  • Supervise ticketers, loaders, drivers, conductors, and other terminal staff
  • Monitor revenue inflow and ensure compliance with company cash-handling procedures
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure positive passenger experience
  • Enforce safety and operational standards within the terminal
  • Manage terminal resources, facilities, and ensure cleanliness/orderliness
  • Report daily activities, challenges, and revenue summaries to management
  • Investigate operational irregularities and enforce disciplinary measures
  • Ensure proper documentation for all trips and staff activities
